چکیده

TiC ceramics have the characteristics of high melting point and density, titanium reserves on earth are extremely large; therefore, considered ultra-high temperature materials with great research value. However, development TiC-based composites has been seriously hindered by their poor mechanical properties. At present, improvement properties is mainly accomplished adding a second phase. In this paper, status modified elements-, nitrides-, metal-reinforced matrix presented. The microstructure, phase composition, toughening mechanism reinforced described. influence reaction products during process also discussed.
